Cougars at State Championships 2017

7 Mar 2017 by Aaron CHAPMAN

Over the long weekend the Cougars competed in the U9B, U10B and U12B grades.

All teams did us proud and had a lot of fun!

In their first States, Cougars U9 team played brilliantly, drawing their first game with only 8 players! Under coach Graham Dombrose they went on to win 2 more games and finished 4th in their division. Their training sessions really payed off. The future looks bright for Cougars U9s!

Cougars U10 team were unbeaten and brought home another division shield for the club under coach Steve Wright. Last year they were also unbeaten and won the U9C division shield.

Cougars U12 team got better and better across the championships finishing in 3rd position. They won 2 games and drew against the previously unbeaten Thornlie Districts in their final game. Truely fantastic teeball! The U12s did all this without any team training before the championships. Coach Luke Ballantine couldn’t be happier!

GO COUGARS!
