Pony Girls Baseball - Players Wanted

7 Dec 2019 by Stephen WESCOMBE

The Pony Girls Baseball League will offer all females of League Age 13 to 16 the opportunity to play in a “league of their own”.

All players will be able to select from a menu of 7 available clubs who have advised Baseball WA (BWA) they are interested in fielding a girls team.

The competition takes place over 10 weeks, commencing the first week of February. Games will be played each Sunday afternoon, and your club will advise you of training day information.

Where clubs do not have sufficient players to field teams in their own right, BWA will group clubs together to create joint teams.

The purpose of the League is to:
- Provide teenage girls with a competitive game environment to compete, participate and develop.
- Whilst winning and losing is part of any League, individual enjoyment and improvement is the main focus.

The BWA registration cost is only $55 and this is required to be paid by Credit Card as you proceed further. Each club will have an additional cost – this is reflected in the drop-down menu when you select your club. The BWA registration fee component will provide you with a numbered player tee-shirt and WA Womens player cap, both to be worn on game days.
