State Championships
Even though our regular season has finished there are still 20+ of our players representing Canning Cougars by playing in the State Championships this weekend.

Chris Ziatis is coaching the Under 10’s and Andrew Della Vedova is coaching the Under 12’s and both have had the teams training hard and playing in lead up carnivals and both teams are primed for the weekend ahead. If anyone wants to watch any of the games, they are played at Yokine Reserve with the following Schedules.

Under 10’s

Wind-up:

Don’t forget that the end of year wind-up is next Saturday 9th
March 9am -12noon.

We have free food for players, bouncy castles, dunk tank and trophy’s/team photos for all.

As this is the last day the club is open for the season, can ALL equipment and uniforms please be returned. If anything is damaged, please let us know so that it can be repaired or replaced for next season.

Umpires:

Lastly, at this weeks committee meeting it was decided the Junior umpires deserved a pay rise! Next year our qualified junior umpires will be paid $25 per game. If there are any 12yr plus kids out there who want to umpire please get in touch with me and I’ll let them know when the courses are running before next season.
