T-Ball News

21 Oct by Jonathan Saw

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces out on the diamonds on Saturday,  especially for what was the very first game of T-ball for many of our players! We hope it’s the beginning of a long and fun journey in the sport. Not even a quick shower of rain could dampen the enthusiasm or the great team spirit on display!

This coming Saturday, we’re introducing something new in the lead-up to State Championship team selections. With a large number of new players joining us this season, we’ll be running Advanced Training sessions over the next two weeks, following the regular Saturday games. These sessions are open to any players keen to take their skills to the next level, whether that’s to prepare for State Team try-outs or simply to kick-start their development for the new season.

At the same time this week, we’ll also be running a Basic Gameplay session, a one-off opportunity designed for brand new players, parents, and coaches. This session will cover the fundamentals of how the game runs, including simple rules, key tactics, and plenty of time for questions and hands-on learning.

Both sessions will start at 9:30am:

- Advanced Training: Diamonds 1–4 (middle diamonds)
- Basic Gameplay: Diamond 6

Lastly, Team Managers, can you please check the spelling of all your players and coaches. We need that all correct to submit to the photographers prior to our Team Photo Day on Saturday 8th November.

See you Saturday on the diamonds! 🐾♦️⚾
