Tee Ball returns to Centenary Park this weekend, with four games to go over three weeks. State Championships Our Canning Cougars Tee Ball Club State Championships teams wrapped their campaigns over the weekend, with our two teams working hard against unfortunate gradings to achieve strong improvement. Our U11s tried very hard in the B Grade, achieving some fantastic plays, seeing enormous player development but unfortunately results didn’t go their way. Our U10s (eight of whom are aged under 9) performed very well in the C grade, coming third with two wins and an amazing high pressure comeback tie against a strong Karratha/Dampier team.
The
kids have set themselves up for a strong campaign next year in the
U12s, U11s and U10s. Please consider trying out in 2026-27 for the
States Championships teams. The level of development the kids in both
teams gained was very impressive. Keep an eye out for those kids as they
return to their Club Teams to see them put their new skills to good use.
Double Header 14 March 2026 Our level two and three teams will play a double-header on Saturday 14 March. First game is as usual at 8:15am, finishing at 9:05. Ten minutes to move, then game two starts at 9:15, finishing at 10:15am.
Level one teams will just play one game, as agreed with the coaches.
All Stars To give our oldest and best level two players a taste of level three, we’re going to play three level two All-Stars games against our level three Titans team at home for the double header and final game on
14 and 21 March.
Level two team coaches are asked to nominate different
players for the three games, ideally children who are in year four,
five or six this year, so they can test their improved skills against the Titans. Coaches please reach out to the Registrar with your nominations.
From the 2025-26 season, we’re aiming to place experienced year 4, 5 and 6 (u11, u12 and u13) children in level three, rather than level two, to help with their development and ensure that level two is age appropriate for those of intermediate size and skill - years 1, 2 and 3 (u8, u9 and u10). Individual circumstances will continue be taken into consideration with team and level placement.

Equipment Donation Drive As we’re coming to the end of the season, if you have any uniforms (hats and pants) or equipment (balls, gloves, bats, tees, helmets, etc) your child has/will grow out of or won’t be using once the season is over, please donate them to the club, where they are in reasonable or good condition. We can then provide them to players and teams next season.
Please drop off any donations to the Donations Box in the Club Rooms.
