If you love tee-ball then baseball is the next step!

Tee-Ball starts at age 4 and ends at age 12.

Baseball starts at age 7 (Little League) through to adult amateur and professional leagues.

Little League baseball in a mixed competition for boys and girls.

Tee-Ball players that want to get started on baseball can play tee-ball in our competition and also play Little League baseball with South Perth Baseball Club.

Competition & Age

Run by Baseball WA and Little League WA, SPBC plays in a home and away series within the Perth Metro Central charter region that includes Willetton Baseball Club.

NOTE: there's enough time to travel from tee-ball at Centenary Park/Cloverdale to the baseball venues.

Exhibition, Regular and Finals series: Mid-October to Late-March (excl school holidays)

Uniforms

Player shirts are provided by each club, pants and cap will need to be purchased by parents from each club.

SPBC Cap: approx $30 from SPBC

SPBC Training shirt (optional): $TBA from SPBC

Pants: grey baseball pants (3/4 or full length) - approx $60 at www.fielders.net

Socks: royal blue (optional if wearing long pants) - approx $10 at www.fielders.net

Belt (optional): royal blue - approx $10 at www.fielders.net

Shoes: sports shoes or rubber cleats (recommended) - soccer/football are OK

Groin protection: approx $10 at www.rebelsport.com.au

Training

Tee-ball players are expected to attend one baseball training session per week to focus on pitching and batting.

Pre-Season Saturday Training: 9:30-11:30am Saturday

starting Sat 26 AUG 2017 to 7 OCT 2017 (excluding 30 SEP 2017)

Weekday Training: 5:00-6:30pm Monday & Wednesday

Play Baseball with SPBC

South Perth Baseball Club created CCTBC many years ago and remain our baseball partner and club supporter.

Players interested in baseball should consider joining SPBC or attend one of their pre-season have-a-go sessions in late August.

Tee-Ball to Baseball Transition Clinics

Baseball WA - Perth Heat run transition clinics where professional coaches introduce baseball skills to young players.

These are run in April/May each year.
